NIST will hold a workshop series kickoff webinar focused on exploring Artificial Intelligence (AI) Trustworthiness on August 6, 2020 from 1:30pm – 4:00pm.
This workshop kicks off a NIST initiative involving private and public sector organizations and individuals in discussions about building blocks for trustworthy AI systems and the associated measurements, methods, standards, and tools to implement those building blocks when developing, using, and overseeing AI systems.
The second workshop will be held August 18, 2020 from 9:00am – 5:00pm and aims to develop a shared understanding of bias in AI, what it is, and how to measure it. Future workshops on other technical requirements of trustworthy AI will be announced.
